The Rushlight Summer Showcase took place on Tuesday 20 June 2017 at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London. It aims to bring together cleantech developers and sustainable solution providers, with investors & financiers and businesses looking to source suppliers and partners for an improved level of sustainability in their supply chain and operations.

Kindly supported by Innovate UK, BEIS and Enterprise Ireland, it is a new event, following on from the Rushlight Show which has just had its eight year and attracted 500 cleantech CEOs and entrepreneurs, investors and financiers, advisers, corporate customers and others involved in the sector.

Cleantech companies can apply for presentation slots in the Conference Showcase to panels of investors, corporate venturers, partners and corporate customers.

Claire Perry, the newly appointed as Minister of State in place of Nick Hurd at BEIS, spoke confidently at the Rushlight Summer Showcase on Tuesday 20 June 2017 about the need for the UK to set and achieve its carbon targets, plans to publish the Clean Growth Plan shortly, to incorporate UK technology innovations within industrial strategy, to maximise UK investment in new clean energy companies and to provide employment in the search for reliable low cost clean energy systems.
